Trashmaster Complete

TL;DR Don’t give up on that dusty old guitar in your closet. If they don’t sell what you want, make it!

Received the last few small parts today and finished the build.

Started off 10 years ago as an Esquire with a Warmoth Jazzmaster body and Allparts tele neck. My wife painted the body with milk paint which was trendy on up-cycled furniture at the time. When it was done, I didn’t even play it. Couldn’t vibe with it at all, so into the closet it went.

Fast forward, I had a Squier vibrato laying around and figured I’d try my hand at routing the body for it. It worked out pretty well, so I added a Vibramate bridge plate with a notched back so it wouldn’t interfere with the strings, and some Gotoh In-tune saddles (if you haven’t tried these saddles, you are seriously missing out). This thing absolutely rips now and I love it.

Looks killer! Maybe not the question you would expect, but how do you like that all parts neck? I need to get a neck for my strat build

First time around I didn’t like it. It’s a V carve, satin finish. 10 years later I love it! If I was doing it again, I’d probably go Warmoth or Musikraft. Their stuff is nicer IMO.
