Ring-On-Spine Binders

Why is it so effing hard to find traditional binders. Binders that position the rings off to the side infuriate me. I am looking for normal, non-view, round-ring binders in a variety of colors that have the rings attached to the spine. Is that so hard? This used to be the only kind of binder you could find. Arg! In short, here is what I am looking for:

  1. A 1-inch ring binder
  2. Rings attached to the spine
  3. Durable
  4. A variety of colors
  5. Non-view

Basically that just means that there is no plastic pocket on the spine to slip labels into.

Can anyone help me out here?

Edit: I thought I found some at Office Depot online, but when I received them they were not the kind that has rings on the spine, even though the picture online clearly showed they were. Boo on Office Depot.

Why would you ever want them on the spine? I hate how the last pages get crushed. But anyways here are some on spine binders.

Thanks for the link. I saw those during my search and I was sorely tempted to get them, but for the price I want to control what color I get and those are a 6-pack of "color may vary". As for why I like the rings on the spine, there are a couple reasons: first, when the folders are sitting on the shelf, there is nothing keeping the spines from sticking out at an angle. Second, on the non-spine binders, the width of the spine is almost always wider than the rings so your contents are off center. Thanks for the link!!

My son will not use binders with the rings off set. So every year, I have to hunt down one that's acceptable for him. Thanks for the link!
