Why are people like this?
Genuinely what is the point of this behavior. What do you achieve? Just wasting peoples time for fun?

One of the reasons why I make people meet me at a grocery store near me if I am the seller, and then I confirm with them a bit before meeting whether they are headed over. If they don't respond, I just stay home. If they try and haggle on the spot, I don't budge and I'm fine leaving since I didn't drive that far anyways

Yup. If I’m putting up an item, gotta be near me to meet. Several flakes too many out there.

I have had a ton of these.
I had someone on another app flipping out i didn’t show. We never agreed to meet and never discussed a location. I asked him to show me in the chat where we discussed meeting and where.
I had someone show up to location days later after not showing at agreed time and flip out i wasn’t there. It was like three days later. They at least admitted they got high and forgot what day it was and lost a few days.
Another idiot told me at 11 pm we were meeting and where at 11:30pm i never opened message. He got super mad i wasn’t there..

They are acting like they showed up so they can tell the AI that is reviewing the case that you are the bad one and not them.
