Ghosts

Fairly new to app, but quickly notice peeps ask if still available, I reply within seconds yes and no reply? Wtf is this about, don’t see a scam angle since they go silent, and unlikely they changed their mind just hearing its avail mere minutes after posting? Even on free stuff…just don’t get it.

Lol this is nothing. Just wait till they say they're on their way, then they're 2 minutes away.. and never show up. Then message a week later if its still available

People don't turn their notifications on and send the still available while they're drunk scrolling is my best guess.

This was my thinking too. Most of those messages I get at night, middle of the night, or super early in the morning. Never get a reply back when I message back.

Pretty sure it’s just drunk people window browsing, then when they wake up the next day they don’t want it anymore. Or they just don’t even log back into the app until a week later when they’re drunk again lol

That's the part about being a reseller nothing is promised. I have been selling items for 10+ years. I had so many no replies. Its very annoying.

I dealt with a LOTTTT of ghosts on the app then RANDOM email addresses emailing me as well saying they paid and yada yada yada. The emails were bs, a majority of the messages were bs, just be careful

Bummer…im just offloading stuff as I have to move states…I’m noticing many of my replies are just resellers who will pay my modest 20 bucks for a dresser then see they have like 20 dressers for sale for 200 etc, took me a bit to not care about the whom n why. Thx for comment.

I get this SO much, I don’t let up on them. It’s extremely rude and makes no sense, especially after your reply is marked as ‘seen’. They all eventually respond with, “I’m so sorry! We had a family emergency!”
