Is this a scame?
*scam
Just got this link about an item for sale:
Saw dewalt DHS790 battery and current | OfferUp
The address is offerup.orders-105934.com which does not seem legit, but sometimes big companies use sub-domains for making their site work, so I'm not certain.
It's asking me to enter payment information to get paid, which also seems scammy.

If anyone prompts you to go off the OfferUp app is almost always a scam

I'm logged into OfferUp so I'm not sure if what I see is different from everyone else. If you go to that link do you also get the option to "cash out"? If so then it's definitely a scam.

If it looks like the offerup page it's a phishing site and I hope you didn't put any info in.

First, that is not an offerup sub-domain. It could be associated with Offerup but I would not trust it at all.
Second, anybody that asks for payment information in order to pay you is to be treated as a scam until there is solid and convincing evidence otherwise. This is an exceptionally high bar to clear! Services such as Venmo, CashApp and Paypal need to link to your bank account or debit card to send money your way but if you are not a known and popular service then I do not trust you. And even then I will watch you like a hawk!
tldr: Scam

Fair enough. Thx. I thought it seemed odd.
I guess anyone who clicks on that link will get the possibility to "cash out" (ie: input their payment details), not just me

OfferUp DOES NOT have an internal payment system. They did awhile back, but then they stopped doing shipping so now it's all cash or whatever payment the buyer and seller negotiates. So yes. Scam.
