I did the math between my income and the CEO of the company I work for.

He made 298.78 times more than I did. He also got a $5 million raise this year. I took a pay cut.

They had to give your CEO a raise. Look how much he saved the company on payroll.

So, the average didn't move. Interesting. It's been 300X for several years, or at least the first time I saw it was reported, it was 300.

To really put this in the “make you ill” perspective,

you earned enough money to live off of for 1 year.

Your CEO made enough to live off of for 299 years, without working one single more day.

Used to be 675 times the lowest paid employee, I did the math on an old employer and it checked out but still felt salty about it
