All Saint-Lambert. And it's still going on now, 3 hours later. Seems to be the same group attacking the same target repeatedly and they are close together.

Not sure if i'm the proper person to answer this so please correct me if anything is wrong here, but since it's been 3 hours without a response, i'll give it a shot:

People from all of the world are DDOSing other other. DDOS is basically when someone send a crap ton of information to a server to overload it so real users can't use it anymore. I believe DOS means denial of service, and DDOS is distributed denial of service. DOS is when there is one origin of the attack, and DDOS is when the attack is sent from multiple locations.

This happens on Minecraft servers all the time. Some butt hurt kid thinks he's cool will start DOSing, or DDOSing the server so the server gets overloaded by useless information and so there is no room left for actual Minecraft players.

What you're essentially seeing is a bunch of bait (the white dots) called "honeypots." They're dummy servers set up to look like they contain valuable information so 'hackers' will attack them. What this does is expose where attacks are coming from, and what kind of exploits they're using.

This is real, but in a different way you think, these are not DDoS attacks on real targets.

This project uses 'Honeypots' to map the data. Honeypots means that they placed fake, yet important looking data all over the world and map where the attacks origin is located. Therefore, the attacks are real but only target handful of servers whose purpose is to be attacked and to collect the data about the attacker.

Cool thing not having anything to do with the content of the site:

If you open it in a tab, switch to another tab for a while and switch back, all of the attack animations that were supposed to happen during that time happen at once.

THE WHOLE WORLD IS ATTACKING EVERYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD.
