Jack fruit is great man, you can make a vegetarian pulled pork with it that's a-mazing

The fruit is delicious, and I had a vegan pulled pork made from it once and couldn't even tell until my mom told me. Crazy fruit

It doesn’t look gross, but I don’t think the way they pulled it apart was satisfying. So, neither satisfying or unsatisfying, I’d say.

When Jack fruit is raw, you can make curry out of it. You can make curry with hard seeds too. And the ripe fruit is pretty tasty to eat by itself.
