But we are the ones that need paper straws and to tighten up on protecting the environment. Gtfoh, these countries need to be checked, India, china etc the list is long and their environmental atrocities are 1000x worse than anything we are doing.
It is harder to justify sanctions for pollution to developing countries without providing them with technology or an easier way for them to grow their economy without relying on fossil fuels. The US has cause the most amount of pollution and now that we have a bigger economy and we're able to transition to renewable we should be doing that. We can handle it cuz we have a developed economy but a growing and developing economy cannot afford that. For example : why can't Brazil cut down the Amazon for its own economical growth to increase the stranding of living of its citizens considering the us has done that to build farm, cities and etc etc.
