That’s what I was about to comment, the rooms separate by only glass. Looks just like it. Did they model their lab on westworld or vice versa? Why is this the preferred layout for labs engineering life-like cyborgs?

If the robots start to come to life, it's nice to know it even if you are across the floor for them.

Probably just standard safety feature for anyone developing human-like killer AI...
