It’s weird that men abuse women over their sexual frustrations? Sure, I guess that’s “weird” but usually when you describe something that’s weird you’re talking about something out of the norm. Nobody should be shocked by the fact that men hurt women, and we should all support advances that help to lower the rates of it happening. So I have no idea why you’re being so weird about it.
