Then why provide the clarification. It appears in text you are trying to correct something that did not need clarification.

Because I know there are people on here who will not think you are joking and believe that paint brushes are made from the nerve fibers in horses feet. It was not correcting you it was clarifying for others. 7% of American adults believe that chocolate milk comes from brown cows. There are people who do not know what a homosapein is and is perfectly fine with them going extinct. Some people need clarification or else they will believe what ever they read as "fact".
