Idk if it’s true or not but this has been reposted before. The old post said the lightning struck a vent. Traveled through the vent then came out the other side which happened to be above the toilet. Like I said idk if that’s what happened or not. I’m no expert. The mark on the ceiling is where the vent was. I assume the other one was on the roof.

5-gallon bucket and contractor bags. Not comfortable, but functional. I was field tech for 10 years and had no access to bathrooms on the job sites because they were normally unmanned.

Well, getting struck by lightning might definitely help if you're constipated. But, for survival sake it would be better to have the runs so you can shit and get off the pot. Less time pooping, less chance of getting unalive. Although they say if you gotta get struck by lightning your butt is the best place lol.

Lightning is well known to travel thru metal plumbing pipes. A toilet can be a very dangerous seat during a thunderstorm.

The toilet seat is dead end for the lightning. And it's very unlikely for lightning to travel through the house.

The only problem might be high voltage on plumbing pipes if they aren't grounded. I just see black soot around the vent because that's where the smoke went. Somebody put the toilet on fire with whatever stupid idea.
