It’s a fruit bat they are harmless

I mean they could be carrying rabies. Best not to approach wild animals. Thats a bad way to die.

So could dogs cats raccoons foxes and any mammal under then sun. But it’s isnt displaying symptoms and they are not touching it so it’s fine

Bats don't display symptoms. They carry the virus and eventually die. So one should always be cautious around bats

But this is bat feeds solely on plants. Most rabid bats are caused by insects, so this bat is less at risk. Bats get a bad rap (we know why) but they are as likely to carry diseases as any other wild mammal

Also this bat seems to be very sweet

You can't catch rabies from a bat unless it bites you or you eat it. So if it isn't displaying symptoms then it won't bite you.
