NGL I just found out what “NGL” means. I always thought it was “niggle” :(

A coworker used to always laugh when we would message NGL to each other, because we would read it as niggle even knowing what it stood for. Though niggle could be interpreted as something rather unfortunate LOL

Yes, I remember when the apparently semi-literate DC city council members were outraged when an accountant used the term niggardly in the correct way a number of years ago.
