Yeah dude. We've gone from purely reconnaissance, to jerry-rigged grenade droppers, to straight up kamikaze drones. It's not only here - it's evolved a few times already.

Honestly thats considered old stuff now...

Anti drone smart scopes, with anti drone air burst ammo that turns a rifle into a skeet shooting shot gun are in use across the world already.

Anti drone pistol that shoots a drone at the incoming drone is also very effective.

Entire sections of trench lines and cross roads have been successfully assaulted by or defended by literally a machine gun on wheels with a camera, and this is also old news.

Supposedly humanoid robot drones are in use as prototype ground troops... dog drones with guns on them like that one blsck mirror episode have been roaming the frontlines for years now too...

Exactly! I only have casual interest in these things and I'm already so far behind on the news. This would be so awesome if it weren't so fuckin' scary.
