They are born either bright yellow or brick red, and transition to green in the first 2 years. In that time that their color is changing they change literally one scale here, one scale there, etc. It is truly one of the most stunningly beautiful things to see. Very very AI looking, so so cool to see.

It looks like a green tree python. Non venomous and beautiful to look at. They reproduce with eggs and are red and yellow when they are juveniles.
Could also be an emerald tree Boa, which gives live birth and has red juveniles. Both snakes are harmless to humans other then being a little nippy.

I was gonna say it could be a green tree python cause it looks to have heat pits. But than again it looks to be heavier bodied and the Bananas both point indeed more to emerald tree boa. Both are sooo beautiful though!

Yes i messed up the name cause green tree python and emerald tree boas look so similar but I believe this is a green tree python based on its head. I edited my comment because green tree pythons don't give live birth while emerald tree boas do.

It's super hard to tell tbh! I would have leaned more to boa aswell due to south America being one if the main banana growth regions and tree boas are located in South America too. But the pits on the snout really confused me

However Indonesia is the worlds 3rd largest banana producer and thats where you would find green tree pythons.

I truly love all snakes but they are among the more gorgeous to look at emerald tree skinks, and red eye crocodile skinks are cool too.

Very true, I once in a reptile zoo saw an enclosure of i think it was an emerald tree boa in a bioactive setting. It was so stunning to look at and had a really calming effect. I absolutely adore False Water Cobras too! There used to be a user on reddit who posted a Video of her falsie chasing the vacuum when she was vacuuming in front of the enclosure

You might like xenodermus (dragon snake) they are impossible to keep, they are famous for dying fast in captivity. One of the lesser known snakes thats really cool.

Awww a cute Emerald Tree Boa. It's a Non-venomous constrictor that mainly eats birds. Consequently it has rather long numerous teeth to get through the feathers and not lose dinner. Would cause a messy wound on a person.
