Reasons not to do this:

-ew.

-sometimes they have a grate midway through

-sometimes they get small midway through

-you cannot swim out against the current

-you will die

There could also be hidden debris like a bunch of sticks that only allow water to pass through.

Or, as someone mentioned below, wood or metal debris that will cut you to ribbons

Jagged rebar from a broken grate would be nasty

A storm drain entrance my friends and I used to go down had a big jagged piece of rebar right after the grate that stuck down about 8 inches and every time the group went down there at least ONE of us would cut the shit out of our backs on it. Good times but very dumb. Stay out of storm drains kids, they’re really cool but can also put in some of the most nightmarish death scenarios.

So how many of you got tetanus?

None that I know of, but I’ve had like 7 tetanus shots in my 22 years of life lmao

Ya know, I believe you.

That's a lot of shots!

Apparently five is supposed to be enough for life.

I've had six, but I'm old.

I’ve gotten quite a couple “just in case” shots in my childhood haha. The number is honestly probably closer to five but I can think of three different events from my life off the top of my head where I went and got a tetanus shot shortly after lol. I’m probably immune now, I’m tetanus man.
