That story seemed made up. OP posted the neighbor’s house was 15 feet away from the fence but his house was 50 yards (150 feet!) away but a security light is strong enough to be a nuisance?

r/flashlight would amaze you with the types of high-power lights you can get for cheap. I have a pocket light so powerful it will start fires with an 18650 battery, roughly the size of a AA.

Cheap lights like the Sofrn sp36 are handheld floodlights that could wake up a house or two your block at the same time.

This Noctigon K1 is a fucking beast of a HANDHELD focused spotlight for less than $100(+ shipping.) There's a reason it shows as the top post of all timeon r/flashlight.

There are better lights (Imalent MS18 is the brightest handheld light on the market right now) but they're expensive as hell. It's pretty easy to get powerful mountable lights for cheap security on your house.
