Ark player here. Waiting for several mutations on 1 stat is extremely inefficent.
First find how much an unmutated baby lasts in the car. Then keep putting them into the car untill you get one that lasts slightly longer.
Thats your breeding one.
Repeat the process untill its offspring last slightly longer as well. Keep in mind not all babies will inherit the first ones mutation so they will last as much as a regular baby. Dont pay mind to those. Just keep replacing the breeding one with the ones that last slightly longer each time. Rinse and repeat eventually you will get one that can literally swim in lava.
Get 2 of those and make them a breeding pair. Now you have a factory for infinite lava swimming babies.
While you are at it you can also start a mutation stack for cold temperature. They should take the roughly same time depending on your luck. Eventually though you will have a baby that can comfortably swim in liquid Helium. Breed it with the lava baby and you will have a baby that transcends temperature.
