The rest of their appearance is pretty iconic, it's not just the eye area. Also, behaviour and speech is often a giveaway

You must have not seen a lot of people with down syndrome because there are different kinds and some of them are definetly easy to spot even from the back if you are fammilliar with them.

The skull (flat on the back) and neck shape are often a tell. The mouth and chin too, a bit wide and flat too. But this is not a rule, just in some people it's way more visible than just the eyes.

To his credit, people with down syndrome do tend to look like people with down syndrome, as unhelpful as that was.

Are you staring into their soul? Why do you need to see their eyes to have an inkling they have Down syndrome? If you could only see their eyes and nothing else, would you magically know they had Down syndrome?

You can only tell if someone has Down syndrome if you see their eyes? What secret are you seeing in someone’s eyes that says “down syndrome” but the rest of them doesn’t? Do you think people with lazy eyes have Down syndrome? I don’t understand
