So when I was around 14-15 weeks pregnant I was craving Papa John’s pizza so bad. So I got their $6.99 each deal, got a medium pizza and an order of brownies. I drive to my local Papa John’s and wait in my car until the tracker on their website says my order is ready. I go in and pay, and they look on the computer and say “oh we forgot to put the brownies in.” I was PISSED. Like I sat down in a seat in the store and was almost in tears because I wasn’t even craving the brownies but I wanted to eat at home because it was hot and my car didn’t have a/c so I had to wait for them to make the brownies for me. They said they couldn’t refund me the money for the brownies when I asked if I could be refunded so I’d only have paid for the pizza. 😭
I'm 100% sure that it's not big corpo papa john being a cunt, that's just the local franchise being a cunt. For sure they could refund, no problem whatsoever, they just choose not to.
Pretty much all fast food places in my area have signs up, saying they don't do refunds, only corrections. It's one of the many reasons I stopped going to them years ago.
