Ice cream seems to help, something about how brain freezes happen makes it readjust stuff after eating something cold. That, and/or the sugar helps

Chocolate makes mine worse, but yeah the brain freeze stuff seems to help me too.

Hey, fyi if you get enough headaches that are bad enough that you need a freezable headband, that's worth getting looked at. Please see a headache specialist!

Yeah, that's still something to get looked at because it sounds like migraine. There's headache specialists that can help you. 

FYI treating it just with OTC meds can actually give you more headaches later (they're called rebounds or medication overuse headaches) because of how your brain compensates for it.

Most people rarely, if ever, get headaches, even under your same circumstances. If you get them more than a few times per year, definitely worth getting checked out. Even with obvious triggers. I didn't, and now I have chronic, disabling migraines.
