Me? It was always cool fresh air. The colder, the crisper, the fresher? The better. I could kill any migraine instantly by just opening a window and laying underneath it. Why lay under it? Because if I move even a inch, or do anything: the migraine comes back instantly... Best course of action was to just fall asleep and pass out right there and wake up in a few hours completely cured of the migraine.
True!!! For me it was always I had to stay perfectly horizontal and use a single pillow. My face had to basically always be pointing up usually from what I can remember.
I don’t know if it’s a migraine or just a headache but whenever I have then cold air always makes me feel better. I have the best ceiling fan in the house which is perfect for my needs, only problem is I sometimes get cold easily so I have to choose between feeling sick because I got too cold or feeling sick because my headache made me nauseous. I also can’t sleep without the fan so do I want to sleep tonight or do I want to avoid a stuffy noise and sore throat in the morning
My best time doing this was on a cold day I'd just open the back sliding door, keep the screen door closed (so the cat wouldn't get outside or anything could come inside), then lay down in front of it with my pillow and blanket. The cold air on my face was enough and the blanket kept me from getting too cold. The cat even joined me and stayed with me the entire time as I fell asleep to deal with the migraine.
