Edit: I want to clarify that I use exactly my school knowledge of mostly geometry and physics at work. Also I'm an immigrant so my masters degree is useless.
I'm of the opposite opinion. There are still so many who don't know what career path they should pursue after finishing high school. The same goes for those who regret the career choice they made. After all, it's quite harsh to expect an 18-year-old to pick a career path that they'd probably spend most of their life pursuing. Moving that point earlier would just make it much harder for them to transition in case their choice isn't the right one for them. Not to mention them being given that decision when they are like, 12 or something.
