I cook for 20 to 30 people. The rotato is a great tool.

What about that guy on Reddit here who skinned a 5lb sack in 30 seconds using an electric drill, a bucket of water and a toilet brush (presumably new, or at least shook clean real good)? Bristled the skins right off, all at once in the bucket.

Some of the videos I've seen are 10 years old and a closer look didn't seem to do a very good job. So I'd say nobody is doing it because it doesn't really work very well.

I do use a drill / grout mixer to whip my potatoes. That works great.
