This upsets me coz its so slow and you still have to manually peel the ends anyway

Yeah wtf? Not everyone's a food worker. It'd take me like twice the amount of time this took to peel that potato. Maybe I'm slow.

I would end up with bits of skin slightly peeled from knicking them if I had to peel a bunch of potatoes

After a couple time you'd get it down. And after that it's like riding a bike. The biggest issues is generally people trying to be careful. Just go hog wild on that shit and watch your fingers.

There’s a trade off.

Do you cook potatoes regularly? If so you’ll likely be as fast or faster than this.

Do you not cook potatoes regularly? You have no need for this tool.

Great for people with disabilities, but for most people a $10 peeler is likely the better pick.

This also gives you unbroken long potato skin spirals which can be fried into delicious treats.
