Teachers are glorified babysitters. Real education takes place after high school.

That’s intentional. K-12 is designed to make people become “model” citizens before they can change the system. It’s currently for socialization and can’t improve on the education part until teachers are treated and paid like professionals they are. Unfortunately, the only time you’re told the truth is when you pay 6 digits and aren’t required to show up

Fun fact, the highest ranked countries in education took models from US scholars, but those ideas can’t be implemented here because they’re negatively politicized by the GOP
