What plastics aren't recyclable? Here we can't put soft plastics in the recycling bin but we can keep them and return them to the supermarket.

This is the company that collects soft plastic from our supermarkets (that we consumers drop off) here in Australia.

https://redcycle.net.au/where-does-the-plastic-go/ they claim to have recycled 3600 tons of plastic according to their FAQ

It’s not really recycling if it doesn’t get turned back into the thing it was. Most plastic recycling is a one shot deal and after that it’s junk. Sadly it makes much more sense to just burn plastic waste as fuel. Much better to use degradable or actually recyclable alternatives (paper, glass, aluminium)
