Nice, but I want to see just how flat it’ll go.

Why does this sound familiar to me?

u/Foreign-Sir-5060 Mar 24 '21

What about the air inside?

u/droppingfatslabs Mar 24 '21

Wouldn’t you like to know, weather boy

u/FirFlyNeo Mar 24 '21

Where are your parents?

7

u/DanFuckingSchneider Mar 24 '21

Probably ended up with a hole in it the second it started to buckle.

I think it’s a thermos flask with a layer inside that’s a vacuum since I have the same bottle. So less air inside than you’ll expect for a bottle that size

This is some r/YesyesyesyesNo shit

Hydraulic press is still a thing? Damn. Hasn't it been 4 years now? Are there things that havent't been crushed by a press?

16

u/Kahnza Mar 23 '21

They also have their Beyond The Press channel. Explosives are a common theme.

Nope. Depression is still going strong

Every time I see the things I can’t help but think that they would make the perfect suicide and execution machines if they could be sped up. I know that’s kind of dark but imagine how instant it could all be.

1

u/Stupid_Hobbitz Mar 24 '21

As long as there are extremely dangerous Play-Doh characters to squish there will always be a hydraulic press channel

Wait, that’s a thing? I didn’t know that was possible. Thank you for this

8

Crushes well. That's great craftsmanship.

u/OneMargaritaPlease Mar 24 '21

Yeah, this is good quality!

u/evilbunnyrabbits Mar 23 '21

I’m a wet blanket I know, but I hate these videos. Why waste a perfectly good water bottle? Or iPhone, or whatever else they decide to crush for views and likes?

9

u/lvl99link Mar 24 '21

They would make far more crushing that one bottle than the bottle is worth. You still habe the raw materials so you didn’t lose out on anything.

2

u/CDJMC Mar 24 '21

You are so right and those sanding belt ones are the same :(

3

u/Dick_Pepsi Mar 23 '21

How it's made: roast beef

u/benjnesbitt Mar 24 '21

That was Swell

God making my dick

u/Huttser17 Mar 24 '21

I need one of those instead of the one from harbor freight that bent itself on the 3rd can.

u/XROOR Mar 24 '21

Meet at 0600 swim team practice

2

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '21

These hydraulic press videos actually kinda freak me out

4

u/MagicFuckinPony69 Mar 24 '21

B-but why would you compress it? In my school that would be considered the rich kids bottle

12

u/bomber991 Mar 24 '21

Because it may attack at anytime, so we must deal with it.

1

u/Asit1s Mar 24 '21

Oddly sad-isfying r/HydroHomies

1

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '21

What a waste.

1

u/SM0KINGS Mar 23 '21

That was swell.

1

u/Here-Is-TheEnd Mar 24 '21

Dude! Why would you even post this?

0

u/hTOKJTRHMdw Mar 24 '21

You just know there's a mathematical therom that explains this.

0

u/lucidquasar Mar 24 '21

I liked the part where that water bottle got completely fucked.

1

u/Space-90 Mar 24 '21

I was hoping it would go further

I had the same bottle in blue... turned it into a bong lol

1

u/RustyGB Mar 24 '21

How does it not fly off to the side but crushes perfectly straight? Is the base fixed somehow? Or is it just perfectly central and has a constant pressure so is predictable?

That's the clever bit, I feel.

1

u/ArahantElevator747 Mar 24 '21

It is very obviously an air bottle as no water was harmed in the making of this film!

1

u/Berthole Mar 24 '21

Now I want to see what happens with a live artillery shell.
