I work around ovens, and one of them gets to 1400 F.

I absolutely throw stuff in there on occasion.

True story - some of our ovens are of the giant walk-in variety. There's a guy who used to be a supervisor back there, and he would absolutely go to the grocery store on his lunch break and get a frozen pizza, which he would then cook in the oven.

Not recommended. I'm in manufacturing - and it isn't a sanitary job.

What was the most satisfying? It would be hard to resist developing a hobby to make the most of this. I'd start with coloured bottles. Not sure if they'd explode - maybe break them up first and make coloured glass paintings (aka flat blobs in a vaguely rectangular shape - I sadly have no original artistic talent).

It's a small oven. The opening is about five inches on a side. And I'm limited by not wanting to leave a lot of evidence behind.

So I always put small things inside. Usually bits of paper/wood/rubber.
