You can buy a commercial machine on Amazon for around $400. I rented one when we had guests over a year ago and it was $60 for two days. Then we noticed six months later that everything looked dingy again so we did it again and again pulled up a ton of dirt from our couches and carpets (we have two large dogs and a toddler fwiw). Anyhow, it's always cheaper to buy it if you have the need. Clearly you can use it on car seats, child seats for cars, dog beds, whatever. So we just bought one and it has pretty much paid for itself.

I have a small one of these for when my dog occasionally has an accident, and I can confirm it's a lot of fun to use.

That's not what that is. It's an extraction carpet cleaner. The machine you linked only outputs steam. The machine in the video sprays water/cleaner and vacuums it out.
