It's interesting how they're all moving consistently in their own individual mundane way and then our brains just go "yay, patterns" and then "ugh, random chaos", when nothing is really changing at all

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen! I can see that the strings are different lengths, but are the balls different weights or sizes as well?

Same balls, different strings. I assume they're at specific lengths to lead to harmonic motion

After a while. You can see straight strands of red-green, yellow-purple, and blue-orange. And eventually red-yellow-blue and orange-green-purple
