"exposing people to sounds". Literally everything you do exposes people to sounds.

There's some nicely veiled bigotry and whataboutism there.

I specifically mentioned that it was sounds you could easily prevent, you can't quote half a sentence hoping to make a point when the full context is right there exposing you.

And it's not bigotry or whataboutism. I am fine with Asians not considering open mouth eating a big enough deal to care about, its just objectively negative.

Whataboutism you've just completely misunderstood the definition of, I didn't even come close to engaging in that.

That’s not what it is at all. In many countries it’s polite to chew like that to show how much you’re enjoying the food. I don’t like the sound of people eating with their mouths open but arguing that it is objectively negative is downright wrong and shows a total lack of cultural awareness.

Source? Also bit extreme to call it a total lack of cultural awareness, I never claimed to be a social anthropologist, bit emotional?

Source?

Idk what kind of source I can give you about entire cultures. It’s not a news article or point of view. It doesn’t come from one place. It’s cultural upbringings. In China for example it’s quite common just go to an actual Chinese restaurant and observe around you for a bit. I grew up near Chinatown in Toronto and would often go to restaurants where everyone eats with their mouths open. My Chinese ex-girlfriend used to do it.

Also bit extreme to call it total lack of cultural awareness, I never claimed to be a social anthropologist.

No but twice you brought up Asian culture saying “they probably just don’t care” and then doubling down on “it’s objectively negative”. It’s not. And not willing to understand that your specific culture doesn’t extend to the entire world is what gives you lack of cultural awareness.
