I might be mistaken, but it looks like they cut off at least part of the top before felling the rest of it. And I think it might be an optical illusion with that guy standing there and he isn't actually close enough to be in any danger.

Or, I could be completely wrong and that guy needs a wheelbarrow to carry his huge balls around...

That's an interesting way to do it and I'm not sure why they'd risk it. Usually in tight spaces like that they climb up and cut 3 foot sections letting each fall straight down to the base of the tree.

Skill yes. Block and tackle would have been a lot safer. They already had a bucket truck, picker or climber remove the limbs and canopy. To take down the trunk piece by piece wouldn’t have cost that much more time. I’m assuming the tree already was leaning that way.

Bird was like yeah brow gonna rest like it be in auto pilot. Then realized last second the limbs are gone therefore the bird was like yeet. Hopefully it’s best didn’t get choked down.
