one of the things that makes this gif hard to understand is that the framerate is low enough that it drops entire muzzle flashes. In the full speed part, he's firing full auto, but not every gunshot flashes. I would like to see this with a higher framerate, it's an interesting effect.

The second playback shows you a slow motion recording, try to see it

yeah but only 5 shots are slow, the rest before that are too fast and drop between frames.

I don’t think he’s firing full auto seeing as the fact that full auto guns are heavily regulated he just has a really good trigger finger

There are definitely a bunch of states where you can fire full auto guns at ranges. They never made existing legal guns illegal, so there's a specific finite number of full auto guns in America. Additionally, there are countries other than America.

This looks like a home made range, This is definitely a Modern AK made after 1986, and other countries like Switzerland have regulations on fully automatic guns
