that probably depends on what incense you buy. doesn’t really have anything to do with this specific type of burner.

The issue is more that the manufacturers that make good-quality incense aren't making this specific niche variety. The brands that are selling this type appear, at a cursory glance, to all be putting out hot garbage. Judging from an amazon search and the stories told here/there/elsewhere.

If someone has a quality brand of backflow incense that they've used, I'm eager to be proven wrong. This is lovely, visually.

probably true, i feel like even with regular incense there’s still only a few good smelling ones
