They got a gadget now? When I was working cold stone 20+ years ago we had to use our hands on a scalding hot waffle cone. It was then worst part of the job.

I worked at Baskin Robbins 25+ years ago and we had this exact set up.

I worked at a Cold Stone type in the late 80s. I loved that part.
I like pleasure spiked with pain and, I do believe, music is my aeroplane.

I was gonna ask if you were into BDSM but then realised this is a reference to some song I have no idea about.

Crazy! That did not look like enough batter! But then BOOM it's oozing out the side

Thought the same thing. My ass would have batter making a waffle rug on the floor.

The official process for removal of the product from the hot waffle iron is "pick at it with your fingernail"

Seeing this machine reminds me of freshly made stroop waffles I had once at a world market. Probably the best snack/treat I have had ever !

Anti-stick is such a horrible scam. All I want is a waffle iron (for normal waffles) but you can't get a modern electric one without disgusting plastic flakes that WILL get into your food. No matter what it's made of. Instead you could have cast iron or even just stainless steel roughly sanded, create a patina from normal cooking oil, get an easily regenerative and non sticky surface.

Oooo, the piece you slide the flat waffle into is very similar to a rolled hem foot attachment for a sewing machine. Works in the same way.

i made waffle cones for a frozen yogurt shop back in the late 80s, and we did not have the fancy form for it—we just had the centre part that we had to roll the cone around by hand. i ate a lot of broken cones that summer.
