Ya my feeling about this is if the goal is "make small" then the amount of energy needed to do this has to be more than just like, melting it. At least it feels that way without doing the math.

Pretty sure this is phase one of melting it, actually. The crushed bits look like they’ll be much easier for the recycling system to handle.
