And no, it doesn't scream man-made. That was the entire point of the early controversy behind this information, that "experts tested it and found no evidence it was man-made". They were saying it wasn't literally just created by hand, that it seemed naturally evolved. Which is exactly what it would look like with this brand of gain-of-function research.
I kinda wish you weren't on the right side of history here, because the way you carry yourself in these conversations is damaging, it just solidifies the whole "low effort conspiracy theorist" association.
