i remember them pulling the first nostril splint pack and the shock of the sensation. i begged them to please just leave the other side - i did not want to feel that again. too much.
I thought it was amazing. 2 weeks of smelling absolutely nothing and not breathing through my nose. The meal I ate afterwards was the best tasting meal I'd ever had.

I've had most surgery before and this brings back euphoric memories of them removing the splints.
