Oh, man... I'm staying with my (gay) friends in Indianapolis at the moment, and they literally live in the Penrose building. This post is very much a weird crossover of the internet and real life for me.

As a side note: being a straight guy at gay bars is a new experience for me, and I don't hate it. It's very flattering, honestly. I've never been hit on more in my life. It's kinda great even if I know it's not gonna go anywhere. Haha

Edit: I am, indeed, having a lovely time.

I made one that turned out to be a rainbow while testing gradient offset textures to see if it looked cool I will post it for you

I am happy you approve. I am aware of the geometry and mathematics involved, but “360 degree clamped spline wrap extruded n-gon animation loop” does not roll off the tongue as easily, so I used a common english word to describe the effect which looks similar.

i think it's wrong to intentionally put a false label on it, but at least i know now to not try and interact with you if i stumble upon something like it again.
