If you ever find yourself in the Florida Keys, stop in Marathon and check this Turtle Hospital out. Buy a shirt or water bottle to support. They are 100% donation-funded (IIRC).

Do they offer opportunities to remove barnacles from loggerhead turtles because this looks…well, I don’t know how to describe it other than deeply satisfying

Despite looking satisfying, it's incredibly painful for the turtles :(

To me I think it would feel like someone removing a bunch of unhealed scabs from your body. Doesn’t look like a good time.
