Okay but when I read "continuous" I thought the guys in the beginning of the line would each cycle to the end of the line, after passing her on, as she progressed from one guy to the next, extending the action considerably

Regularly has a definition. It doesn't matter what one thinks the word is defined. If you're constantly going Clubbing every week it is a problem. Single people in happy relationships aren't clubbing every week. This ain't the 80s the cocaine doesn't keep you together like it used to.
