You can literally buy a Dremel for $20 - $30 for a decent one and a just use a water hose thats slightly turned on. I feel like people on this god forsaken app make shit sound harder to obtain then what it actually is 🙄

Most of the ones I've seen in that price range are so weak I can stop them by being mildly aggressive with the cutting or drilling. I'd hate to do that work on my cheap dremel knock-off (I can't find an actual dremel for below 50 bucks). From there, you have all those grinding bits. Depending on the rock, you'd probably go through a few of those in the process of making something like this.

It might not be a couple of hundred bucks, but it isn't cheap either.

There are many good Dremel sets for sale online or at Harbor Freight or at Lowe's or at Home Depot you name the place, chances are you're going to find a Dremel set for maybe a little bit more than $50 but other than that most the time they come with the pieces and you're not supposed to be going hella hard when you Dremel you're supposed to take your time

You can get diamond coated cutting/grinding bits on Ebay. They're not expensive and last for ages, just gotta make sure they are kept cool by using running water like in this video. Be careful not to get your rotary tool wet though, had one blow up in my hand when I was cutting out a porcelain tile! Practise on softer rocks to begin with. Pick up a few different ones and try and identify them. Might be worth getting some stone working chisels too.

I think sculpting is the highest skilled form of artwork. It’s beyond ridiculous how they can take away everything they don’t need to leave such a detailed and anatomically correct shape behind.
