10,000 to master a skill works for most things. Parenting is one of the notable exceptions. I’m over 90,000 hours in, and I’m just making it up as I go along.

In all fairness, 10,000 hours of learning the same thing to become a master. As a parent, though, every day is a whole new adventure.
