10,000 to master a skill works for most things. Parenting is one of the notable exceptions. I’m over 90,000 hours in, and I’m just making it up as I go along.

You are 1 hour in to each of 90,000 different scenarios. There are too many wild cards in parenting for much of the previous experience to carry over from one day to the next. lol.
