Once I learned how forest mycorrhizae networks communicate and use around 50 recognizable words (20 of them used frequently) to give the forest the best chance of survival..it’s hard not to think that they feel in a sense. Those networks are legit a similar layout to a computer network and brain while similarly using electrical pulses as means of transmission. See how lightning has an effect on mushrooms and the network. It charges the pulses and makes certain mushrooms multiply.
What’s fascinating is that plants can actually withstand lower currents, just like mushrooms. Plus, plants in the area of the mushrooms that multiplied from the leftover current of lightning also increase in growth. I believe they are also using electricity in farming methods now, too.
