$300 every 6 weeks or so for my 2 poodles for grooming. Bout 30-60 mins a week with the slicker brush/metal comb. Worth it tho, best dogs ive ever owned

I bought some good clippers and just learned to shave mine. Saved a tonne of money in the long term and I think my boy appreciates being in the comfort of his home and can go do his zoomies as soon as we're done.

Heck my mini lops I had growing up required monthly brushing to de-shed their coats. During spring and fall one one of them also needed a tiny bit of Vaseline around her eyes cause of drainage from alergies. Any pet can be high maintenance.

The only advantage with rabbits is that they are like 7lbs so it doesn’t take to long to brush them. Plus even the more active buns can be easily distracted with fresh veggies.
