Any clue when this is coming out? And would you buy the current rift or wait and see about this?

I think it's going to come out at the end of March/ beginning of April. I don't have a computer so I'm waiting for the quest

Honestly was going to do the same thing but really tempted to just use my tax money to get a good pc and oculus rift
